Your Wellbeing is Our Priority

Dr. Shadi Arbabian, D. Ac., L. Ac.

Dr. Shadi Arbabian earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland, with a goal of pursuing a career in healthcare and making positive contributions to her community. She went on to earn her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Acupuncture, accumulating over 3,000 hours of combined theoretical and clinical training. This extensive knowledge and experience enables her to provide exceptional care for her patients.

Her passion for Chinese Medicine was ignited while working at an HIV/AIDS research center. There, Dr. Arbabian developed a deep interest in serving individuals and spending one-on-one time with patients. She found immense value in listening to their needs and supporting them on their wellness journeys. It was during this time that she learned the importance of being an active listener, which laid the foundation for her becoming a healer. She discovered how powerful words can be in guiding patients toward healing.

Dr. Arbabian practices two styles of acupuncture: Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Five Element Acupuncture focuses on balancing emotions and nurturing the spirit, while TCM emphasizes addressing patterns of disharmony. Both approaches aim to relieve pain and promote healing by balancing the Yin and Yang on the levels of body, mind, and spirit. Through her treatments, Dr. Arbabian helps restore the smooth flow of energy, or “Qi.”

At HeavenlyWell, Dr. Arbabian takes a holistic approach to patient care, addressing the root cause of illnesses rather than just the symptoms. She believes that “Healing Begins Within,” and her goal is to guide her patients on their journey toward self-healing and overall wellness.

What We Provide

Our Services

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Facial Acupuncture

Facial acupuncture can increase facial tone, decrease puffiness around the eyes, as well as bring more firmness to sagging skin, enhance the radiance of the complexion, and flesh out sunken areas. Customarily, fine lines will disappear, and deeper ones will be reduced.
